We put the dimensions beside your room and check the route in. Your fit note brings the pieces, access and delivered price together before you order.

03 / The hide
The colour of coming home
Top-grain semi-aniline hide has a light protective finish that lets the grain show. The same grade covers every surface, including the back and outside arms.

04 / The build
Drawn first, built slowly
Your order gives the work its starting point, from the frame underneath to the hide you chose.
1. Solid hardwood frame
Kiln-dried hardwood is joined with mortise-and-tenon joints and reinforced with corner blocks.
2. Sinuous steel springs
Zig-zag steel springs support the seat with a little give beneath the foam.
3. High-resilience foam
Foam at 35 to 40 kg/m³ gives the seat its substance and helps it recover after sitting.
4. Top-grain semi-aniline hide
The same grade of leather covers the seat, back and outside arms.
Made to order, kept in the loop
Allow 16 to 20 weeks door to door; we keep you posted as the piece moves through each stage.

Keep it out of direct sun and 50 cm from heaters.
Blot spills promptly
Blot with a lightly damp cloth, without rubbing.
Condition with care
Spot-test a semi-aniline-safe cream before conditioning once or twice yearly.
A weekly dust
Dust weekly with a soft, dry cloth, including seams and buttoning.
