Shipping and delivery

What we build and when it ships

Nothing here is held in stock. Your piece is cut and built to order, which takes roughly twelve to fourteen weeks from the day your hide is confirmed. That window is an estimate, not a guarantee. Leather is a natural material and occasionally a hide is rejected at cutting, which adds time. If a date moves, we tell you before you have to ask.

Where we deliver

We deliver across Australia. Freight is quoted by postcode at checkout, or a specialist can price it for you before you order. We do not offer free delivery, and we would rather quote you the real number than build it into the price.

Remote and offshore addresses may carry a surcharge and a longer transit time. If your address falls outside our standard network we will tell you before you pay, not after.

What delivery includes

Your piece is covered in transit the whole way to your door. Standard delivery is to the ground-floor entrance of the address you give us. It is a two-person job and the crew will place the piece inside the entrance.

Delivery does not include carrying a piece up stairs, through a window, into a lift, or unpacking and removing packaging, unless that has been arranged and priced in advance. If you need any of that, tell us before you order and we will quote it.

Access is your call to make

Measure before you order. Thirteen of our pieces will not pass through a standard 820 mm internal door, and a piece that cannot get into the room is not a fault.

Before delivery, please confirm the width of every doorway, hallway, stairwell and lift the piece has to pass through, and any tight corners. Send us the numbers and we will tell you honestly whether it fits. If a piece cannot be delivered because of access that was not disclosed to us, a redelivery or return will be charged at cost.

Booking your delivery

When your piece is finished the carrier contacts you to arrange a day and a window. Someone over eighteen must be at the address to accept and sign for it.

If nobody is there for a booked delivery, the carrier will attempt to rebook and a redelivery fee applies. Where a piece has to be held in storage because an address is not ready, storage is charged from the second week.

On the day

Check the piece before you sign. Look at the arms, the feet, the seams and the hide. If something is wrong, note it on the delivery paperwork and photograph it before the crew leaves. That single step makes a damage claim straightforward for everyone.

If you spot damage after the crew has gone, tell us within 24 hours of delivery, and no later than 48 hours, with photographs of the piece and the packaging. The carrier claim window is short, so the same day is better than the next. See our returns and refunds policy for what happens next.

Risk and title

Risk in the piece passes to you on delivery. Title passes once we have received payment in full.
